Katherine Gura
Katherine works at the Teton Raptor Center as a biologist. Hailing from North Carolina, Katherine moved to Jackson to monitor raptors and other avian species for Grand Teton National Park. At Teton Raptor Center, she works year-round studying great gray owls to determine their population density, breeding ecology, and movements in Jackson Hole. During her free time, Katherine enjoys trail-running with her favorite field assistant, her pup Dipper.
Lynsey Dyer
Lynsey is a professional skier who is widely recognized as one of the best big mountain skiers in the world. She has skied on 6 continents, won every big mountain competition she’s entered, and been awarded Female Skier of the Year by Powder Magazine multiple times. A Jackson local, Lynsey has become a powerful advocate in campaigns to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions as well as bring attention to other environmental issues such as carbon emissions and public lands preservation.
Aly Courtemanch
Aly grew up in Maine and came to Wyoming for a Master’s of Science Degree from the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Her master’s research focused on habitat selection and impacts from winter backcountry recreation on the Teton Bighorn Sheep Herd. Aly is currently a wildlife biologist with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. Her job is to conserve and manage some of the animals we are fortunate to have here in Jackson Hole.
